Bernstein, Shur to Hold Breakfast Seminars on New Overtime Pay Rules
PORTLAND - Attorneys in the Employment Law Practice Group of Bernstein Shur, Sawyer & Nelson will hold a series of informal breakfast meetings this month to discuss the new regulations issued by the U.S. Department of Labor on overtime pay.
The informational seminars, which are free and open to any employer or HR director wishing more info on the new rules, will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. May 17 and 27 for those in the public sector, and 8 to 10 a.m. May 20 and 21 for employers in the private sector.
All of the meetings will be held at the firm, which is located at 100 Middle Street in Portland. Advance registration is required, however, by calling Sue Powers at 228-7328, preferably by May 15.
