Brown & Meyers Offers Seminar to Help Area Businesses Learn How to 'Stop the Paper Chase' and Improve Organization
Free breakfast workshop event slated for June 18 in Portland
PORTLAND, Maine Businesses looking for tips to improve organization and move toward a paperless office are invited to attend a free Scanning & Document Management Breakfast Workshop offered by Brown & Meyers in Portland on June 18.
The free event is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 9:30 on Thursday, June 18, at the Portland Chamber of Commerce at 60 Pearl St. in Portland.

The seminar, led by Sid Thorne of Brown & Meyers, will help area businesses stop the paper chase by learning skills and techniques involved in improving filing, going digital and getting the office organized.
Thorne will cover the current paper-related office problems that many businesses face today, including the average costs that are incurred from excessive filing or a disorganized system. He will also discuss the various options and technologies that businesses have available to become organized, the cost benefits of these options and how to start the organization process.
