PORTLAND, Maine (May 18, 2011) – TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, has promoted Catherine L. Buffum to Commercial Loan Officer III in Commercial Lending in Portland, Maine. A vice president, she is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial loans as well as administrative lending matters, credit administration and risk management, serving clients throughout Southern Maine.

Buffum has 10 years of banking experience and more than 15 years in real estate sales and management. She joined TD Bank in 2000 as a Credit Analyst and most recently served as a Commercial Loan Officer II.

A Saco, Maine, resident, Buffum volunteers in her children’s schools and activities. She is a 1997 graduate of the University of Southern Maine in Portland, and a 1975 graduate of Old Orchard Beach High School.
