Dana Slone and Rachel Boyer Join Wolfe Public Relations in Portland

Wolfe Public Relations, Inc., a Portland firm that specializes in news releases and distribution, has expanded by adding Dana J. Slone and Rachel L. Boyer to its staff.

Slone has been appointed as the account services director at the firm. She is responsible for client services such as media list development, overseeing news release distribution, media relations, and posting releases on the Wolfe News Wire website at www.wolfenews.com.

Slone previously served as senior project manager at Interface Media Group and has more than nine years of professional communications experience, including marketing, event and project management, advertising agency account management, public relations, multi-media publishing, and television news production and promotion. A resident of Portland, Slone is a 1991 graduate of Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn.

Boyer has been named account coordinator. She previously served as a news intern at the Bangor Daily News in Bangor, and as assistant editor at the Maine Folklife Center. At Wolfe Public Relations, Boyer is responsible for press list updates and maintenance, distribution, research and other account services tasks. A resident of Westbrook, she is a 2000 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono and a 1996 graduate of Georges Valley High School in Thomaston.
