John Phillips Joins TD Insurance, Inc. as Vice President in Employee Benefit Sales in New York City

NEW YORK CITY (September 1, 2010) – John R. Phillips has joined TD Insurance, Inc., a subsidiary of TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, as a Vice President in Employee Benefit Sales in New York City. He will provide employee benefit brokering and consulting solutions, including strategic planning and cost-containment strategies, for middle-market employers throughout the Greater New York City area.
 Phillips has 14 years of experience in banking and insurance. Prior to joining TD Insurance, he served as a Senior Benefits Consultant at Corporate Synergies Group, Inc, in New York, and in senior sales positions at Aetna and UnitedHealthcare. Phillips is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
A resident of Trumball, Conn., Phillips is volunteers with Junior Achievement Western Connecticut and TeamBrent, a non-profit organization dedicated to the fight against childhood cancer. He received an MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2001 and an undergraduate degree from Southern Connecticut State University in 1994. Phillips is a 1987 graduate of Ridgefield (Conn.) High School.
