As a Commercial Portfolio Manager, he is responsible for managing all aspects of middle market banking relationships, focusing on companies in a variety of industries with annual sales of more than $20 million.

Nelson has 20 years of commercial lending and retail banking experience. Prior to joining TD Bank, he served as a Commercial Relationship Manager at Wachovia Bank in Hartford and at Sovereign Bank in Rocky Hill, Conn.

A Bristol, Conn. resident, Nelson volunteers as treasurer of the First Congregational Church in Bristol, and as a coach and board member of the local Little League. He graduated in 1990 from Syracuse University in Syracuse, N.Y. with a degree in Economics & Political Science.
