Kate Meyers-Coyne, President of Brown & Meyers, Receives CDIA+ Certification

Company is New England’s leading provider of high quality transcription, document management and court reporting services

Portland, Maine - Kate Meyers-Coyne, president of Brown & Meyers, a leading provider of outsourcing solutions, has received certification as a Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA+).

The professional certification from CompTIA (Computing Technology Imagining Association) designates expertise in the best practices and technology used to plan, design and specify document imaging and document management systems.

Well known for court reporting, medical and general transcription services, Portland, Maine-based Brown & Meyers recently added document management to its growing list of outsourcing solutions. For more information, visit www.brownmeyers.com.

“Stacks of paper continue to build up in today’s offices and it is costing businesses, large and small, more money than they realize,” Meyers-Coyne said. “Transitioning to a paperless office requires the skills and expertise that a CDIA+ professional can offer. In this economy, it may seem counterintuitive to invest in going paperless. But it’s an investment with an enormous payoff.”

The CDIA+ certification requires rigorous study and coursework covering a body of knowledge that includes assessing business needs and defining procedures, analyzing business processes, and designing and implementing workflow solutions.

“It is vital that we are up-to-date on the latest document scanning, hosting and software technology,” said Meyers-Coyne, a Scarborough resident. “With this CDIA+ certification, I feel confident in recommending customized document management solutions that will save my clients exponentially in office space, time and resources.”

Brown & Meyers, located at 536 Washington Avenue in Portland, was founded by Kate Meyers-Coyne in 1994 and has since grown into New England’s leading provider of high quality transcription, document management and court reporting services. The firm has continuously invested in leading-edge technologies and a talented staff to deliver the region’s most responsive service.

The company’s services include transcriptions, paper-to-electronic media scanning and imaging, online content and document management, file storage, court reporting, videotaping and other solutions related to recordkeeping and compliance. Brown & Meyers serves medical groups, legal entities, insurance companies and other organizations in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and across the nation.
