Litigator Michael Hodgins Joins Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson

Attorney Michael A. Hodgins has joined the statewide law firm of Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson and will practice in the areas of general and municipal litigation in the firm's Augusta office.

Formerly an associate with the Augusta firm, Doyle & Nelson, Hodgins is a member of the Litigation Department and the Municipal Law Department at Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson. A resident of Pittsfield, he is a member of the Maine State Bar Association, the Kennebec County Bar Association and the Maine Trial Lawyers Association. Hodgins serves as a director of Your Choice, Inc., a residential substance abuse facility for adolescents in Hallowell, and as vice president of the Board of Trustees of Maine Central Institute in Pittsfield.

Hodgins is a 1993 graduate of the University of Maine School of Law, and in 1990 received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College. He is a 1986 graduate of Maine Central Institute in Pittsfield.
