Maine State Ballet will hold open auditions for area ballet students interested in dancing in this holiday season’s performances of The Nutcracker. Auditions will take place on September 1 and September 2 at the Maine State School for the Performing Arts, 91 Forest Street in Westbrook.

Wednesday, September 1
Ages 7-9 4:00-5:00pm
Ages 10-12 5:30-6:30pm

Thursday, September 2
Ages 13-15 4:00-5:00pm
Ages 16 + 5:30-6:30pm

The press is welcome to attend the auditions to view this season’s dancers.

The audition fee is $5.00. Maine State Ballet’s Nutcracker will be performed on two weekends, November 20 & 21 and November 26, 27 & 28, at Merrill Auditorium. For more information, call (207) 856-1662 or visit www.mainestateballet.org.
