Marie Malin Joins Wolfe Public Relations

Marie Malin has joined Wolfe Public Relations, a Portland firm that specializes in news releases and distribution, as an account coordinator. Her responsibilities include media list updating and maintenance, mailing services, research and writing.

Malin's hiring is part of an expansion at Wolfe Public Relations, which recently created a travel PR department focusing on the Caribbean, Mexico and other Latin America destinations and companies that need help receiving U.S. news coverage. The company created the new division to help tourism boards, airlines, resorts, festivals, hotels and regional tourist initiatives get their news out to the U.S. media in a journalistic, economical manner.

Malin previously worked as a freelance writer and copy editor, and as editorial assistant at Maine Boats & Harbors magazine. She also works part time as a communications assistant and assistant editor of Habitat journal at Maine Audubon in Falmouth. A Portland resident, Malin is a graduate of College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor.
