TD Bank Names Kevin Malone Market President for Boston Metro South and Rhode Island

TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, provides customers with a full range of financial products and services at 1,300 convenient locations from Maine to Florida

BOSTON (May 9, 2013) – TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, has promoted Kevin F. Malone to Market President for the bank’s Boston Metro South and Rhode Island regions.

In his role, Malone will be focused on continuing to build upon the core strengths of TD Bank as a financially strong, reliable business partner to its growing client base in Massachusetts’ Greater Boston, South Shore, Metro West, Southeastern, and Cape Cod markets, as well as Rhode Island.  He also will continue to direct TD Bank’s Middle Market lending activities in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Malone has more than 30 years of banking experience and most recently served as Senior Vice President and Director, Middle Market for Boston Metro South and Rhode Island. He joined TD Bank in 2002 and has worked in various commercial leadership positions of increasing responsibility throughout his tenure. Prior to joining TD Bank, Malone worked at Barclays Capital, ABN AMRO and, earlier in his career, at Bank of Boston. He is a past board member of the North Shore Chamber of Commerce and North Shore Catholic Charities and is a member of the Boston Chamber of Commerce and the Massachusetts CFO Round Table. 

A  Quincy, Mass., resident, Malone has been active in community volunteer events, including actively coaching CYO basketball for many years. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Economics and a minor in Accounting/Finance.
