TD Bank Names Michael LaBella Market President for Connecticut

WESTPORT, Conn. (April 26, 2010) – TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, has named Michael J. LaBella the Market President for Connecticut.
Based in Westport, LaBella will manage TD Bank’s four regional offices in New Haven, Glastonbury, New Britain and Fairfield, focused on growth in market share throughout the state by providing a full range of banking services and support.

LaBella joined TD Bank in 2007 and has 28 years of banking experience. He most recently served as TD Bank’s Southern Connecticut Regional Vice President. Before joining TD Bank, he held key management positions in the Connecticut marketplace at Wachovia, Bank of America and Citibank.

LaBella serves on the Board of Directors for the Bridgeport Regional Business Council, the Bridgeport Public Education Fund, The Workplace and Saint Catherine’s Academy, and is a member of the Connecticut chapter of CEO Alliance.

A Trumbull, Conn., resident, LaBella is a member of the Knights of Columbus and volunteers on the Finance Committee for St. Catherine of Siena. He received an MBA from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn., and an undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Bridgeport.
