TD Bank Names Susan Whalen Senior Credit Officer in Risk Management in Burlington, Vt.

BURLINGTON, Vt. (August 11, 2011) – TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, has promoted Susan D. Whalen to Senior Credit Officer in Risk Management in Burlington, Vt. She is responsible for the approval of commercial loans and the assessment of risk in the Vermont and upstate New York regions.

Whalen has 25 years of experience in bank finance and commercial lending. She joined TD Bank in 1992, serving in a variety of positions in commercial credit and lending, including Commercial Group Manager, before moving to risk management in 2008. Whalen most recently served as a Credit Officer

A resident of Monkton, Vt., Whalen serves on the board of Burlington Sunrise Rotary and Everybody Wins! VT. She graduated magna cum laude from Curry College in Milton, Mass.
