TD Bank Names Walter Unangst Senior Vice President in Healthcare Finance in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (August 23, 2011) – TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, has promoted Walter C. Unangst to Senior Vice President in the Healthcare Financial Services Group in Philadelphia. He will lead a team of relationship managers, portfolio managers, credit analysts and commercial sales assistants in developing and expanding relationships with healthcare clients (hospitals, nursing homes, retirement communities and large physician practices) in the Metro Philadelphia market, including eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Unangst has 27 years of banking experience. He joined TD Bank in 2001 and most recently served as a Vice President in Healthcare Financial Services. Unangst is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).

A Worcester Township, Pa., resident, Unangst volunteers as a member of the National Ski Patrol, an administrative officer at the Camelback Ski Patrol and as chair of the Endowment Committee at Church of the Messiah. He received an MBA in 1988 from Drexel University in Philadelphia and an undergraduate degree in 1983 from Pennsylvania State University in University Park. Unangst is a 1979 graduate of Saucon Valley High School in Hellertown, Pa.
