Tax Attorney Elizabeth Sellers Joins Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson
Attorney Elizabeth M. Sellers has joined the statewide law firm of Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson as a tax attorney in the firm's Tax & Estate Planning Department. Sellers will practice in the areas of tax-exempt organizations, charitable giving and estate planning, and serve in the firm's Portland office. Formerly of counsel with Caplin & Drysdale in Washington, D.C., Sellers received a Master of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center in 1995 and graduated from the Vanderbilt University School of Law in Nashville, Tenn., in 1991. Sellers earned her undergraduate degree from Yale University in 1988. A resident of Portland, Sellers is a member of the American Bar Association's Tax Section, and has authored and co-authored a number of legal articles pertaining to issues of taxation and tax-exempt status.
