The RAM Companies Signs Three National Tenants in Massachusetts

National firms Aramark, Wireway Husky Corp. and Belfor expanding operations in RAM properties in Greater Boston

BOSTON (February 28, 2012) – The RAM Companies has signed three well-recognized national tenants to the company’s portfolio in the Greater Boston region of Massachusetts, Brian A. Gagne, Executive Vice President of Acquisitions & Development at The RAM Companies, announced today.

Aramark, Wireway Husky Corp. and Belfor are each expanding operations in properties operated by The RAM Companies (www.ramcompaniesusa.com), a 40-year-old company that develops, acquires and manages high-quality residential, office, industrial and retail properties.

Specifics of the recent deals include:
  • At 234 Ballardvale Street in Wilmington, Mass., Aramark (www.aramark.com) is expanding to double its present footprint in the facility. The company, which provides food service, facilities management, uniform and career apparel to health care institutions, universities and school districts, stadiums and arenas, and business around the world, has added approximately 12,500-square-feet to bring its total space at the property to 25,000-square-feet, according to Gagne, who handled the expansion for RAM.
  • At 463 Ballardvale Street in Wilmington, Mass., Wireway Husky Corp. (www.wirewayhusky.com), one of the largest producers of material handling products in the country, has leased approximately 25,000-square-feet at the property. Doug Jacoby of NAI Hunneman represented RAM in the transaction, and Alan Ringuette of Stubblebine Co. represented Wireway Husky.
  • At 120 Bartlett Street in Marlboro, Mass., Belfor (www.belfor.com), the worldwide leader in disaster recovery and property restoration, has leased approximately 20,000-square-feet. RAM was represented by Anthony Coskren of JLL in the transaction, while Chris Tosti of CB Richard Ellis represented Belfor.
“The RAM Companies is very pleased to have these three strong companies in our tenant mix,” Gagne said. “We are cautiously optimistic that 2012 will be a year where companies will increase their expansion activities as the economy continues to recover. RAM constantly strives to provide the best possible leasing options to those tenants in the market.”
