LATHAM, N.Y. (August 31, 2010) – TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, has named Thomas J. Chera a Senior Relationship Manager in Commercial Banking in Latham, N.Y. He is responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of for-profit and not-for-profit commercial relationships throughout the Capital Region and upstate New York.
Chera has 26 years of banking experience. Prior to joining TD Bank, he worked in commercial banking at JPMorgan Chase Bank in Albany, N.Y. Chera is a member of the Association of Financial Professionals (AFP), Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and Robert Morris Associates (RMA).

A Guilderland, N.Y., resident, Chera serves on the Board and as Chair of the Nominating Committee for the American Red Cross of Northeastern New York. He is a 1982 graduate of State University of New York at Albany and a 1993 graduate of The College for Financial Planning in Denver. Chera has completed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and Series 7 certifications. He is a 1978 graduate of Notre Dame-Bishops Gibbons High School in Schenectady, N.Y.
