Elaina Romano Joins TD Bank as Store Manager in Buzzards Bay, Mass.

BUZZARDS BAY, Mass. (September 13, 2010) – TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, has named Elaina Romano manager of its store located at 121 Main St. in Buzzards Bay, Mass. An assistant vice president, she is responsible for new business development, consumer and business lending, and managing personnel and day-to-day operations at the store serving customers throughout the region.
Romano has more than six years of banking experience. Prior to joining TD Bank, she served as an Assistant Branch Manager at Citizens Bank in Dennis, Mass. Romano is a member of the Board for the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce, an active member of the Cape Cod Young Professionals, member of the Bourne Kiwanis Club and a major sponsor for the ALS of New England Foundation.

A Dennis resident, Romano is involved in a variety of community activities, including the Bourne Scallop Festival and the ALS Charity Walk, and volunteers in reading programs for kids at the local library. She also is active in the TD Bank WOW! Zone, a multimedia financial education program aimed at helping children understand finances.

Romano is a 2008 graduate of the University of Massachusetts. A native of Florida, she graduated from Fletcher Senior High School in Jacksonville Beach, Fla.
