Program Description:
Held each year on or around Groundhog Day to allow young people to see what a real job is like, Job Shadow Day is organized by Junior Achievement and sponsored by Peoples Heritage Bank as part of the bank's "Peoples Promise" program created to help young people in the state. This marks the fifth year that Peoples Heritage Bank has sponsored Job Shadow Day.
"It's a great program that really helps kids understand what the workplace environment is like," said Michael W. McNamara, president and CEO of Peoples Heritage Bank. "We're glad to be a part of it."
